Joining Core Arts is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a unique organisation. As a member:

  • You will have access to a variety of sessions and workshops run by professional tutors, with experience of the creative industries.
  • You can develop an individual creative work plan, review and change your timetable alongside your interest and skills.
  • Effective individual guidance and support, including one-to-one if requested.
  • Be part of a supportive creative community
  • You will be invited to take part in or attend several quality events each year. The events will be creative, cultural, educational, musical, artistic and more!
  • You might want to join in the studio jam sessions, perform your own poetry, move onto further education or become a volunteer within the creative industries. We can support you through your education and creative development.
  • We offer spaces if you want to work on your own projects as well as tutored workshops with access to studios, resources, exhibition spaces and performance opportunities.

How to apply

Core Arts is open all year for referrals for over 18’s experiencing and managing mental health issues.
If you are supported by a community mental health team and have access to a personal budget or direct payments, you will be eligible for membership. We also have specific referral routes for Hackney residents, please see eligibility and enrolment below.
